ALLEGHENY – Pine Tree Park in Bethel Park will receive a much-needed facelift thanks to a $200,000 Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) grant, announced Rep. Natalie Mihalek (R-Allegheny/Washington).

“I’m excited for our community to get a revamped outdoor space that children, teenagers and adults can enjoy,” said Mihalek. “I want to extend my sincerest gratitude to the Municipality of Bethel Park and the CFA for making this project idea a reality.”

The Municipality of Bethel Park requested a Greenways, Trails and Recreation grant to renovate the recreational facility at the park by adding a ramp for better access to the playground and pavilion, sealing the basketball court, adding a new backboard to the basketball court, upgrading the playground and adding new landscaping at the park’s entrance.
