WASHINGTON COUNTY – Rep. Natalie Mihalek (R-Allegheny/Washington) will hold a Women’s Vendor Expo on Friday, Aug. 20, from 9-11 a.m. at Valley Brook Country Club, located at 425 Hidden Valley Road, Canonsburg.
“This event is a chance for females in the business world to network with one another, and for attendees to learn how female-owned businesses can help them,” said Mihalek. “Women in the workplace face a unique set of challenges on top of the balancing act of home and family life. I want to empower and encourage women that they can do it all.”
Companies that will be in attendance include: State Police; Vintage Real Estate, LLC; Ambit Energy; BEMER; Healy; Steel City Spine and Orthopedic Center; Three Rivers Salsa; Elise McGlaughlin (jewelry and accessories); Elite Firearms; Tastefully Simple; Color Street; Opal Rose; Ashley Jamison Virtual Assistant; Beckysbiz; Vintage to Vogue Boutique; Mulberry Public Affairs; Pinaments by Kathy; Simplicity Direct Care; Cookie Wishes; Arbonne; American Dreamers Renovations; Preferred Care at Home; Master Care Partner; Shirley’s Sweets; Designer Consigner; Jackhammer Fit; Senior Blue Books; Balance Me Pro; Scarlett Lilian Pauley Foundation; Diane Graco Allen Nutrition; Refuge Pittsburgh; and Ashlyn’s Art.
Mihalek’s office will also accept donations for three local charities. Dress for Success will accept gently used or new women’s business casual clothing. Zachary’s Mission will accept individual packs of Kleenex’s, small notepads (not journals or ring binders), travel size hand sanitizer, and Pantene 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner. Shop with a Cop will accept gently used or new women’s purses and men’s ties.
“I am excited to have so many inspirational females together in one room,” Mihalek continued. “Whether a vendor or an attendee, I just know a lot of great connections are going to be made.”
