MCMURRAY – In an effort to recognize area veterans, Rep. Natalie Mihalek (R-Allegheny/Washington) will host a recognition breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 9-11 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Suites Pittsburgh South, located at 164 Fort Couch Road, in Pittsburgh. All veterans who reside in the 40th Legislative District are invited to participate.

“We want to show our appreciation to the veterans in our area who at one point in time served to defend our nation,” Mihalek said. “These men and women deserve to be thanked and appreciated every day. This breakfast is just one way to thank them for all they’ve done and remind them that our office can serve as a local resource.”

In addition to breakfast, each participant will be recognized by Mihalek and special guest speaker, former state senator, Col. John Pippy.

The breakfast is free to attend, but those wishing to participate must register in advance. Participants are invited to bring one guest.

Veterans may register by calling Mihalek’s district office at 724-942-2045.
