Veterans Outreach Hours

Available at my district office every third Wednesday of the month .

Veterans can get help with compensation, pension, death benefits, education and health care. Must call to schedule an appointment by calling 724-942-2045.

Seniors Can Register for Their Port Authority ConnectCard at My District Office

The Senior Citizen ConnectCard permits adults age 65 or older to ride for free on Port Authority vehicles, including buses, light rail and inclines, during all hours of operation.

Topper, Mihalek to Lead Joint Hearing on Higher Education Funding in Pennsylvania

WHAT: The House Appropriations Committee Subcommittee on Education and the House Education Committee Subcommittee on Higher Education will hold a joint hearing to review higher education funding in Pennsylvania. This year’s budget spends $1.86 billion on higher education and it is prudent for the House to review expenditures to ensure taxpayers’ dollars are being spent appropriately.

Mihalek to Host Shred Event for District 40

ALLEGHENY – Rep. Natalie Mihalek (R-Allegheny/Washington) will hold a free, on-site shredding event for residents of the 40th District. The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 9-11 a.m., in the Upper St. Clair High School’s lower lot, located at 1825 McLaughlin Run Road, Pittsburgh. Attendees should enter on Devonwood Dr. and exit on McLaughlin Run Road.

House Steel Caucus Recognizes National Manufacturing Day

Natalie Mihalek (R-Allegheny/Washington) and Frank Burns (D-Cambria), co-chairs of the Pennsylvania House Steel Caucus, joined fellow House Steel Caucus members for a tour of the U.S. Steel Mon Valley Works’ Edgar Thomson Plant in Braddock.
